The FZ FORZA Future Series Nouvelle-Aquitaine 2026 delivered a number of notable performances at the Futures Series level of the European circuit, with several emerging players making their mark despite limited coverage of the event.

One of the standout stories came in the men’s doubles, where the 2025 European U17 champions Benaissa/Sow secured their first European circuit title. The French pair came through a tight final against Spain's Burgos/Lopez, winning 21-15 16-21 21-18 to underline their rapid progress on the international circuit.

Sow also impressed in men’s singles, reaching the semifinals before bowing out to eventual champion Victor Kauffmann, who went on to take the title after a three-game final victory over Noah Haase (21-12 12-21 21-16). Haase secured silver for Netherlands in the process.

Netherlands enjoyed a strong tournament overall, collecting two titles and a silver medal. Joep Strooper/Sterre Bang clinched gold in mixed doubles after a straight-games winwhile Kirsten De Wit/Merte Loos added another title in women’s doubles with a hard-fought win against England's Lisa Curtin/Yulia Tang (21-18 20-22 21-12).

In women’s singles, Hristomira Popovska reached the finals, but had to settle for a silver medal after Vietnams Thi Trang Vu got the win (21-6 21-14), rounding off the final results from the tournament.
