It is time to take Smashy on a completely new adventure.

Badminton Europe is inviting badminton fans and digital creators to create an original AI-generated image featuring Smashy, the Badminton Europe mascot.

Send Smashy into space, place him inside a futuristic badminton arena, turn him into a superhero or create a completely new badminton world. The scenario is up to you—the more creative, the better.

The creator of the winning image will receive a YONEX badminton racket. The winning creation will also be published on the official Badminton Europe channels.

Save a Smashy image

To help you create your entry, we have provided several official Smashy images below.

Right-click an image and select Save image as, or press and hold the image when using a mobile device. You can then upload it to your chosen AI image tool and use it as a visual reference.

 

How to enter

Step 1: Save your Smashy reference
Choose one or more of the official Smashy images provided in this article.

Step 2: Create your image
Use an AI image-generation tool to place Smashy in an original badminton-inspired scenario. You may also use editing software to improve the final result.

Step 3: Prepare your file
Submit the image as a JPG or PNG.

Step 4: Email your entry

Send your finished JPG or PNG image to:

Please include the following information in your email:

• Full name
• Country
• Instagram or Facebook username
• Name of the AI tool used

Entries must be received by 1 August 2026.

• Smashy must be clearly featured

• The image must be created primarily using AI

• JPG or PNG format
• Original and family-friendly content only

By submitting an entry, the participant transfers to Badminton Europe, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all transferable intellectual property rights in the submitted image. Badminton Europe may use, edit, adapt, reproduce, publish, distribute and otherwise use the image worldwide, indefinitely and without payment or an obligation to credit the participant. The participant confirms that they have all necessary rights and permissions to submit the image and allow these uses.
