The Valence Alpes International 2026 presented by FZ FORZA takes place from 11th to 14th June in Valence, France, as part of the Badminton Europe Elite Circuit.
A strong field has assembled across all five disciplines, with several recent champions and European medallists adding depth to the entry lists.
In men’s singles, England’s Harry Huang leads the draw ahead of Israel’s Daniil Dubovenko, Croatia’s Aria Dinata and Finland’s Joakim Oldorff. Dubovenko arrives in strong form after winning the most recent Denmark Challenge final against Denmark’s William Bøgebjerg, who is also among the seeded players in Valence.
The women’s singles draw is headed by Germany’s Yvonne Li, who also recently lifted the Denmark Masters title. She is joined by Spain’s Clara Azurmendi, France’s Anna Tatranova and Czechia’s Petra Maixnerová in a competitive field.
French interest will be strong on home soil, with Enogat Roy among the players looking to make an impact in the men’s singles draw. In men’s doubles, former European Championships silver medallists Leo Rossi/Eloi Adam lead the field as top seeds.
In mixed doubles, Callum Hemming/Estelle van Leeuwen headline the draw. The pair, who recently won the Denmark Masters and are European Championships silver medallists, will be among the favourites alongside several strong European combinations. Meanwhile, France's Thibault Gardon/Kathell Desmots-Chacun are also in the race, and will be attracting attention from the home crowd being the European Junior Champions.
