The Czech International Future Series 2026 in České Budějovice had many strong performances and particularly successful results from some Germany players.

In women’s doubles, Stine Kuespert/Isabel Lohau won the title with an impressive run. This is a great result for Kuespert, who was playing her first tournament since September last year. Lohau has been competing with different partners since returning last year, including Leona Michalski and the Netherlands’ Debora Jille. The German pair secured the title with a win in straight games against Czechia’s Klára Šilhavá/Radka Šilhavá.

Germany was also successful in men’s singles, where Luis Pongratz delivered one of the standout performances of the tournament. Getting all the way through the qualification rounds, the young German talent had an impressive run to win the title.

Spain’s Natxo Cervello/Alejandro Gallego finished as runners-up in men’s doubles after losing the final to Dev Ayyappan/Dhiren Ayyappan.

In mixed doubles, Ukraine’s Oleksii Titov/Anastasiia Alymova also reached the final, finishing as runners-up while Dhiren Ayyappan/Taabia Khan took the title.

The European Circuit now moves to Italy for the YONEX Italian Open 2026, taking place in Bolzano from 25 to 28 June. The tournament will be livestreamed on BadmintonEurope.tv.
