Anders Antonsen and Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje are through to the semifinals of the TOYOTA Thailand Open 2026.

With a smaller European group competing at this week’s event before more players join later in this Asian leg of the World Tour, Danes Antonsen and the reigning European mixed doubles champions are now the last Europeans standing in the draw.

Scotland’s Christopher and Matthew Grimley had a strong run to the quarterfinals in this Super 500 tournament but have lost their match today.

Antonsen secured his place in the semifinals with a strong performance and will now face a tough challenge against world number one Shi Yu Qi. The two met just two weeks ago at the Thomas Cup, where the Chinese player won in straight games.

In mixed doubles, second seeds Christiansen/Bøje played a great match against seventh seeds Gao Jia Xuan/Wei Ya Xin, winning 21-16 18-21 21-19 in a close quarterfinal clash. This result marks their fifth podium finish of the year.

Another strong Chinese pair awaits the Danes in tomorrow’s semifinal, where they’ll be facing sixth seeds Chen Xing/Zhang Chi.
