The Badminton World Federation has announced the BWF World Tour calendar for 2027 and 2028, featuring 35 tournaments plus the World Tour Finals to end the season. All tournaments will be played under the new 3x15 scoring system from January 2027, while all Super 1000 events will expand to an 11-day format. 

For Europe, the biggest news is the promotion of the Denmark Open from Super 750 to Super 1000, meaning Europe will now host two Super 1000 events: the All England Open and Denmark Open.

There are more changes in the European calendar, with the German Open moving up from Super 300 to Super 500, while the HYLO Open moves from Super 500 to Super 300. Additional Super 100s may be added.

With the BWF World Tour calendar for 2027 now confirmed, the full 2027 European Circuit calendar is also expected to be announced soon.
