An incredible week in Kuala Lumpur has come down to the very last matches.
The first two winners have already been crowned in women’s doubles and women’s singles. In women’s doubles, Japan’s Fukushima/Matsumoto clinched the title with a 17-21, 21-15, 21-15 victory over China’s Jia/Zhang.
In women’s singles, An Se Young continues her remarkable form, winning the title 21-17, 21-7 against world number 2 Wang Zhi Yi.

The match we’re most excited for is match number 4, where the world’s top men’s singles players face off. World number 1 Shi Yu Qi will take on world number 2 Anders Antonsen.
The two last met just a few weeks ago in the final of the World Tour Finals, where Shi emerged victorious with a 21-18, 21-14 win.

Although both players have been tested in tight matches throughout the tournament, there’s no doubt that these are the rightful finalists. Now, we’ll see who can claim the title of Malaysia Open 2025 champion
