YONEX Welsh International Open 2024 Welcomes Global Badminton Stars to Cardiff

The YONEX Welsh International Open 2024, part of the Badminton Europe circuit, is set to bring the world of badminton to Cardiff, Wales.

From Tuesday, November 26, to Saturday, November 30, international players will compete at this International Series event.

Welsh Spotlight
Wales will be proudly represented by Saffron Morris, competing in the women’s singles qualification rounds and partnering with England’s Harry Wakefield in the mixed doubles qualifiers. A promising player, Saffron will look to impress on her home soil as she takes on international challengers.

Tournament Schedule:
  • Tuesday, 26 November: Qualification rounds begin at 9 AM.
  • Wednesday, 27 November: Qualification rounds continue from 9 AM.
  • Thursday, 28 November: Main draw matches start at 9 AM.
  • Friday, 29 November: Last 16 at 10 AM, quarterfinals at 3 PM.
  • Saturday, 30 November: Semifinals at 10 AM, finals at 3 PM.

With players like Karan Rajan Rajarajan (Denmark) in the men’s singles and Huang Ching Ping (Chinese Taipei) in the women’s singles main draw, the YONEX Welsh International Open promises excitement for fans and participants alike.
