Anders holds a master's degree in IT, Communication, and Organization from the University of Southern Denmark. For the past few years, he has worked as a team leader at a major Danish news media company, focusing primarily on marketing through digital platforms. It’s safe to say that Anders knows how to effectively promote products and content.

Anders has played badminton for most of his life, competing at a reasonable level during his youth, though not at the very top. He has closely followed the sport’s development over the years and has also contributed his time to the organization of Denmark Open for many years. Anders shares, “It has always been one of my dreams to work in the communication of sports, especially badminton, so I believe this is the perfect match.”

In his role, Anders will be responsible for setting the direction for how Badminton Europe communicates across various platforms, ensuring that we deliver high-quality and timely coverage of European badminton. He will also lead digital and communication projects, including the development of a new website that we are currently working on.

Outside of work, Anders resides in Funen and is a family man with two young daughters. He enjoys spending his time in badminton halls and often takes his children to watch local teams play on weekends. In addition to badminton, Anders loves to explore his creative side, whether it’s building and restoring small furniture, painting, or building LEGO.

Anders has already been with us for almost two months and is well on his way to gaining an overview of how we cover, promote, and develop the sport.
