Mixed outcomes for Europeans at LI-NING Hong Kong Open 2024

The first two days of the LI-NING Hong Kong Open 2024 has been a rollercoaster for European badminton players. 

Following a challenging first day that saw top seeds Kim Astrup/ Anders Skaarup Rasmussen exit early, the tournament's second day continued to present a mixed bag of results. 

Christo Popov, Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt, Rasmus Gemke, Mads Vestergaard/ Christine Busch, and Viktor Axelsen successfully advanced to the Round of 16. However, other prominent players like Toma Junior Popov and Mia Blichfeldt have been eliminated.
