Spanish badminton star Carolina Marin is one step closer to clinching her second Olympic medal after a strong performance against Japan's Aya Ohori in the Paris 2024 Olympics. Marin looked at ease on the court, delivering one of her best performances of the tournament with a convincing 21-13 21-14 victory.

Marin now awaits the outcome of the semifinal match between China's He Bing Jiao and Chen Yu Fei, who are set to compete for a spot against her. Regardless of the opponent, the upcoming clash promises to be a spectacular one.
