Following Kim Astrup/ Anders Skaarup Rasmussen escape from the so-called “Group of Death," there now awaits for them an even greater challenge ahead. They are the only European men’s doubles pair that made it out of the group stages.
They are facing the formiddable Kang Min Hyuk/ Seo Seun Jae (KOR) whom they have had many encounters with in their past. Famously in the World Championships final in Copenhagen, where the Korean pair bested the Danish on home-turf. However, at the World Tour Finals last December, it was the Danes who overcame the Koreans in three games.
