With his victory against Ireland's Nhat Ngyuen, Axelsen secured the win of his group after victories against Nepal's Prince Dahal and Israel's Misha Zilberman.
It was a match where early in the first game, the Dane saw himself in trouble with Nhat Nguyen having an early lead. But after a talk from his coaches, Axelsen got control back in the game and secured the match victory.
