In an electrifying match accompanied by cheerful audience, the Popov brothers secured a victory over Ondřej Král/ Adam Mendrek. The French crowd was energetically engaged, with support also visible from Czech fans, including Jan Louda who cheered on his compatriots.

The atmosphere was charged as two European clashes unfolded simultaneously. While on one court the French duo Lambert/  Tran faced off against the Danes Fruergaard/ Thygesen, the French men's pair of Toma and Christo Popov triumphed in straight games, 21-18 21-19, much to the delight of the home audience.
