Badminton Europe would like to wish the Badminton Federation of Armenia a happy 30th anniversary.
"We are happy and proud to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of our federation and the collaboration with Badminton Europe Confederation. Over the past 30 years, we have worked hard towards promoting and developing badminton in our country. It has been a long journey full of hardships and bad conditions following one after the other. However, we kept going with the hope and the belief that the bright days will come,” stated President of the Badminton Federation of Armenia Hovhannes Khachatryan.
In a testament to the remarkable progress of badminton in Armenia over the last 30 years, the Badminton Federation of Armenia organised the Armenian National Championships from 27 to 29 October. Held in the newly reconstructed Yerevan Sports School of Tennis and Badminton hall, the event drew 60 talented players from five cities across the nation, including Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Ijevan, and Spitak. This championship, which brought together the country's top badminton talents, illustrates the success that badminton has achieved in Armenia.
“The importance of collaboration with Badminton Europe over the last 30 years has been huge. With the support and guidance from Badminton Europe, we have been able to implement development projects in our country, helping and providing opportunities for our players and coaches to improve and compete at an international level. Today, we can proudly announce that we are living the best times of badminton in Armenia,” concluded Khachatryan.
