The YONEX Slovenia Future Series 2023 concluded on Sunday, September 10th, with a thrilling day of finals held at the Sportni Center in Otočec, Slovenia. This four-day event, running from September 7th to 10th, saw the participation of 208 talented badminton players across the five different disciplines.

Two of the finals showcased matchups between Swedish and German players, with the Germans emerging victorious in both encounters. In the mixed doubles, the third-seeded pair of Schlevoigt/Meyer secured a 21-18 21-17 victory over Ekman/Wang. Meanwhile, the men's doubles final saw Dakto/Schlevoigt triumph with a score of 21-10, 14-21, 22-20 against Karlborg/Molin.

In the women's singles final, Israel's Heli Neiman claimed the gold medal by defeating Czech player Lucie Krulová in a closely contested match with a final score of 17-21, 21-13, 22-20. The men's singles final featured a surprise qualifier medalist, 2022 European Junior Championships runner-up Jakob Houe, Denmark.

The last match of the day was an intense women's doubles final, where the Italian/Swedish duo Corsini/Johansson secured the title with a hard-fought victory of 21-18, 20-22, 21-17.
