Three Wild Cards granted to the host
Badminton Europe has allocated three Wild Cards to esteemed German players/pairs for this event.
Matthias Kicklitz has been awarded a Wild Card in Men's Singles. Kicklitz has recently been crowned Germany’s national champion. He has also won the title at both the Lithuanian International and Iceland International on the European Circuit last year and delivered commendable performances with the German squad at the 2024 European Men’s Team Championships.
In Men’s Doubles, Jones Jansen/ Kenneth Neumann received a Wild Card, as did Jones Jansen/ Thuc Phuong Nguyen in Mixed Doubles. Both pairs have shown their skills on the European Circuit, notably with Jansen/ Nguyen clinching a title at the Estonian International this year.
