Badminton Europe is seeking a Communication Officer for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Communication Officer – Badminton Europe
Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 15 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 53 Members. Information on the organization can be found here: http://www.badmintoneurope.com
The Communication Officer will be co-responsible for the news coverage and for the creation and production of engaging and innovative content for the media platforms of Badminton Europe. The Communication Officer will be joining the Communication Team that will consist of another officer, a graphical designer and an intern. The Communication Officer will be reporting to the Senior Management and supporting the Business Committee as and when needed.
The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

-Providing content in the different areas of responsibility
-Being responsible for specific elements of the website including writing news
-SOME projects to improve communication platforms of BEC and Members
-Produce video content from onsite studio
-Support the management and development of existing and new apps
-Support the establishing process of a new website
-Onsite coverage of major events, circuit tournaments and development activities
-Deliver in accordance with branding manual and communication plan
Qualifications
-You have experience working as a journalist, preferably in sports
-You have experience with news distribution
-You have experience working with various social media
-You have experience with interviewing
-You are comfortable working with video editing
-You are comfortable working with a video camera and light settings
-You have experience in website maintenance
-You are fluent in written and spoken English
-You are familiar with the world of badminton
-You have initiative and personal drive
-You can work and deliver within deadlines
-You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office
Remunerations will be in the range of 40.000 euro/year before tax and with an additional pension scheme.
The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Denmark and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.
The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
