The finals have been played and the players have received their medals.

Last week Cyprus International was held in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Players from almost every country in Europe went to Cyprus to play the first international tournament held in 6 years in Cyprus.

Daniella Gonda and Agnes Korosi from Hungary, who were second seeded in this tournament, won 21-12, 12-21 and 21-19 against Katharina Fink and Yasmine Hamza from Italy. Gonda and Korosi were the only seeded players to win Cyprus International.

A sad ending
Jonathan Dolan from Ireland, who practices at the BEC Centre of Excellence, went all the way to the final, where he played against the first seeded Alex Lane from England.

Dolan was leading 15-4 in the first set, but after only 11 minutes Lane retired. After this Dolan could stand on top of the podium and receive the gold medal.
