Badminton Europe is seeking a full time employee as Finance/ Administration Manager to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Finance/Administration Manager – Badminton Europe

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 6 full time employees backing up an elected Council of 10 officers and 52 Member Associations. Information on the organisation can be found here: http://www.badmintoneurope.com

Finance/Administration Managers key duties include;

• Budgeting in cooperation with the General Secretary
o Preparing annual budgets for Badminton Europe
o Monitoring budgets and forecasts

• Accounting
o Financial matters according to Financial Regulations using quickbooks
o Daily accounting
o Invoicing
o Payments
o Control demands and send out reminders
o Preparing profit and loss account and balance sheet

• Reporting
o Preparing financial reports and Quarterly accounts for 4 Council sessions per year
o Preparing the financial report for the Annual Delegates Meeting

• Salaries
o Preparing monthly salaries via Danlon

• Meetings
o Practical arrangements for Annual Delegates Meetings
o Practical arrangements for 4 Council meeting per year
o Practical arrangements Development and Administration Seminar
o Minutes for appropriate meetings

• Projects
o Project support on development projects
o Project support in events area

• Regular liaison with relevant Directors

The Finance/Administration Manager will report to the General Secretary.

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

Remunerations will be 25.000 DKR/month+10% pension.

o You preferably have an interest in badminton

o You are an experienced user of accounting software
o You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office
o Good command of written and spoken English

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and will already have work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young environment.
