European Games: Here’s the group stage draw

The draw for the group stage of the badminton event at the European Games 2023 is here.

The stage is set for an exhilarating badminton showdown at the European Games 2023 in Kraków and the Malopolska region, Poland. From 26 June to 2 July, the badminton event will take place in the vibrant city of Tarnów, at the modern Arena Jaskolka.

Yesterday, the live draw for the group stage was conducted from the Badminton Europe offices in Copenhagen, Denmark, revealing the group compositions for all five events. Find below the links with the different group compositions.

The key dates
Group Stage: 26 - 29 June
The badminton competition kicks off on Monday, 26 June, with the Group Stage matches that will run until Thursday, 29 June. All events will conclude their group stage matches on the 28th, except for mixed doubles, which will continue until the following day, 29 June.

Knockout Stage Draw Ceremony: 28 and 29 June
After the completion of the Group Stage matches, the highly anticipated draw ceremony for the knockout stage will take place on 28 June for all events, except mixed doubles, which will have its draw ceremony on 29 June.

Finals and Medal Ceremonies: 1 - 2 July
Mark your calendars for the epic European Games 2023 finals. They will be held on 1 and 2 July. The medal ceremonies will also take place on these momentous days, celebrating the remarkable achievements of the victorious players.
