Badminton Europe is seeking a coach for a full-time position to join the RSL BEC Centre of Excellence in Holbæk, Denmark. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Coach – RSL BEC Centre of Excellence

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 53 Members. Information on the organization can be found here: http://www.badmintoneurope.com

The Coach will be part of the Coaching team at the RSL BEC Centre of Excellence that consists of a Head Coach, Coach, Physio/Coach and assistant coach. The Coach be reporting to the Head Coach on sporting matters and to the Development and High-Performance Manager on administrative matters. 

Working tasks
  • Long-, mid- and short-term planning of training
  • Daily training Monday to Friday 
  • Individual training and tournament planning
  • Video analysis
  • Goal setting with players and evaluation
  • Setting up and maintaining player profiles
  • Communication with the players stakeholders
  • Coaching at tournaments
  • Recruitment of players 

Qualifications
  • You have experience working with elite badminton players
  • You have a BWF Level 3 or equivalent Coach Education
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You are a strong communicator
  • You have initiative and personal drive
  • You can work and deliver within deadlines
  • You are a team player
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office 

Remunerations will be in the range of 40.000 euro/year before tax and with an additional pension scheme.

The job cannot be combined with other badminton related jobs or coaching.

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Denmark and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job. There will be possibilities to rent accommodation at the RSL BEC Centre of Excellence.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.

Interviews will be held virtually on 30 and 31 May 2023. Only short-listed candidates will be notified. 

We might request shortlisted coaches to come to the CoE to give training as part of the evaluation process.

The selected candidate would ideally start in July 2023.
