The amazing All England run of Anders Antonsen ended in the semifinal. The Dane showed another entertaining performance, including a seven-point comeback in the second game, but lost to Li Shi Feng from China 11-21, 21-19, 18-21.

Antonsen could not hide his disappointment after missing the chance to play his first ever All England final. But he was above all proud on what he had put on court in an All England semifinal to remember. "I was close to getting my ass kicked in straight games. I fought with absolutely everything I had and managed to come back. And I was close to winning the match", shared Antonsen.

The Dane was having a bad start and came back in the second game after being down 2-9 and 5-12. Antonsen turned things around and took the second game 21-19. In the third game he saw himself up 16-12 before Li Shi Feng started a comeback on his own and in the end took the match 21-18. "It was a crazy experience, a rollercoaster ride. I am super proud of this match and to play in that atmosphere here on a Saturday night at All England was amazing"
