A total of 20 people took part in the Shuttle Time Teachers Course organised last month by the Badminton Federation of Kosovo with the resources provided by the Badminton World Federation.

The participants, 15 male, and five female, showed extraordinary interest in learning up close the basic elements of badminton over the three days (5-7 February) of training.

Kosovo has now joined the Shuttle Time family, making a total of 143 Member Associations implementing Shuttle Time globally.

Led by Shuttle Time National Coordinator of Kosovo Lulzim Haziri, the implementation was carried out in theoretical and practical terms in accordance with Shuttle Time rules for the teachers from Prishtina, Gjilan, Gjakova, Peja and Kamenica.

At the completion of the course, the satisfied teachers thanked the organisers and promised to transfer their knowledge and experience to students at their schools as well as the wider local communities.

The success of the event has also given the Badminton Federation of Kosovo confidence to organise other courses to develop the sport in the country, especially the rural areas with sports gyms.
