With only a couple of months to go for the big European team event of 2022, we now have the list of teams who have entered to fight for next year's titles.

It is time again soon for the European teams to get together and fight for European medals. In February 2022, the European Men's & Women's Team Championships will be taking place in Finland, and 53 teams have entered the event. 

The ninth edition will be taking place in Lahti, Finland, from 15-20 February 2022, where male and female national teams will be stepping on court to claim the title of Europe’s best. The event also serves as the European qualification event towards the Thomas & Uber Cup Finals, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

There are only two months to go, and European nations are already warming up to fly to Finland in what will be the country’s first time as host of the event. With 27 men’s teams and 26 women’s team entered, we are in for a fierce fight for the champion titles.

European Men’s Team Championships
Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark (holder), England, Estonia, Finland (host), France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Wales.

European Women’s Team Championships
Belarus, Belgium, Denmark (holder), England, Estonia, Finland (host), France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Wales.

Seedings are to be published 6 January and the draw of the group stage will be conducted and published on 10 January.
