Badminton Europe is seeking a Business Manager for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Manager – Badminton Europe

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 54 Members. Information on the organization can be found here: http://www.badmintoneurope.com

The Business Manager will be heading the Communication team that currently consists of an officer and an intern as well as the Commercial team that consists of a graphical designer and an external consultant. The Business Manager will be reporting to the Senior Management and servicing the Business Committee. 

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

  • Deliver on and further develop the Communication Plan
  • Deliver on and further develop the Commercial Plan
  • Service the Business Committee and deliver on KPIs, reporting
Communication
  • Manage and provide content for website and SoME
  • Manage process of establishing new website
  • Manage and develop existing and new apps
  • Ensure onsite coverage of major events and circuit tournaments 
  • Ensure onsite coverage of annual congress and development activities
Commercial 
  • Liaison with current partners
  • Seeking new partnerships
  • Branding Manual
  • Promotion material
  • Digital Strategy
  • Digital Monetization 
  • VIP arrangements
Qualifications
  • You have experience working with strategies and the relevant implementation
  • You may be an educated journalist
  • You have experience with news distribution 
  • You have experience working with social media
  • You have experience in website maintenance
  • You have experience with sports marketing
  • You have experience with digital marketing
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You have initiative and personal drive
  • You can work and deliver within deadlines
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office 
Remunerations will be in the range of 50.000 euro/year before tax and including pension.

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
