The Dutch number two seeds in men’s doubles, Ruben Jille/ Ties van der Lecq have regrettably pulled out of the Denmark Masters. Jille, despite itching to get on court, explains to his fans why.

Jille, who also was due to play in the mixed doubles with Alyssa Tirtosentono, wrote to his fans on his Instagram on why he has to wait a little bit longer to get back on court.

-Unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from the Denmark Masters this week due to an injury. My rehab is almost done, but my body isn’t ready for a tournament yet…

-A few weeks of holiday now to recharge mentally as well before we go again.

Scots are the ones to beat
Top seeds in the men’s doubles, Alexander Dunn/ Adam Hall, also returning from a lengthy injury for Dunn, will be focused firmly on the top prize. The Scottish duo defeated Jille/ van der Lecq in the final of the Austrian Open 2020 and now know that they will have one less foe on their path to the title.
