- The Olympics are the biggest events in the world, and of course it has a big focus for Badminton Europe. Sport is connecting people and looking back at the last 18-20 months, connecting people is more important than ever, Communication Manager at Badminton Europe, Rasmus Bech, stated.
All day long
Badminton Europe will be posting photos, articles and other content from the Olympics from early morning to late evening.
- With the time difference from Tokyo to Europe, it allows us to bring action to the fans all day long. With the first matches starting at 2.00am and with the last matches finishing around 5.00pm, the badminton fans can be looking forward to great entertainment.
- For us it is important to connect the European stars to the badminton audience. The athletes are the ambassadors of the sport, and the Olympics is the best place to present badminton to the world. I am sure we are looking at some great days with great content on all our platforms, Bech mentioned.
The badminton competition at the Tokyo Olympics begins on 24 July.
