Coach/technical advisor for FELUBA

Within the framework of its Pro-club project started in September 2018, the Luxembourg Badminton Federation is recruiting a coach/technical advisor to work on the development of its clubs. Depending on his profile, he may be asked to work as an assistant or coach with the national squads.


Job description

The coach/technical advisor will be in charge of one or more FELUBA clubs and (depending on the profile) will assist the national coach of an age category. Five coaches are currently part of this structure.

Mission of the coach/technical advisor:

To structure and deliver club training sessions for different age groups, including adults and seniors;

To accompany players to tournaments and training camps;

To plan training sessions, clinics and tournaments;

To ensure communication with parents;

Other missions may be requested by the club or FELUBA depending on the needs.


Required skills

Technical, tactical, physical and pedagogical skills related to the practice of badminton;

Autonomy, rigour, creativity, great interpersonal skills, ease in learning a foreign language and good communication skills;

Command of Excel and Word.


Required Profile

Diploma: coach Level 1 BWF/Luxqf 3 or equivalent;

Languages: speak one of the three national languages (French, German, Luxembourgish);

Holder of a B driving licence + personal vehicle.


Contract offered

FELUBA employee with part-time contract: 20 to 25 hours/week.

Meeting and preparation hours are included in the working time.

One year fixed-term contract. The contract may be extended from year to year.

Salary for part-time job (20 hours) depending on diploma and skills: between EUR 1300 and EUR 1500 gross or between EUR 1200 and EUR 1400 net.

Fuel card: EUR 100/month

Additional hours worked for national squads are paid at EUR 35/hour.

Ancillary activities throughout the year: salary according to the activity and the hours worked.
