Today we begin the 2021 European Mixed Team Championships! We have been taking a look at each of the eight teams competing to be crowned the best in Europe. Here we look at hosts Finland.

Finland’s Group 1 opponents: Denmark, Germany and Scotland.

The event for Finland is a proud moment and might be the first chance to watch a team that will be competing for medals and making their mark on European badminton in the future.

It is expected that the two European Juniors bronze medallists on home soil from 2020, Nella Nyqvist and Joakim Oldorff, will be on the Finnish roster, and these two for sure are the future for Finnish badminton.

Finland’s #EMTC trophy cabinet is empty, however, they will have fond memories of their bronze medal at the 2014 European Men’s Team Championships. Something that Eetu Heino, an experienced and versatile weapon for Finland, details in the EMTC21 magazine

Strongest lineup based on squad and world ranking as of 09.02.21 and exclusive articles can be found within the magazine.
