Magnus Johannesen won his match today against Estonian Tauri Kilk and is now ready for a rematch against first seed Christo Popov.

In today’s match Johannesen played against Tauri Kilk from Estonia. Like in the team match, it was a win for Denmark as the Dane won 21-14 21-8.

- I think in the first game I had a little bit of a slow start but afterwards I played well I kept my tactics, so that was good.

A tough match ahead

In the quarterfinal Johannesen will play against first seed Popov. They played against each other at the Dutch Junior, where Popov took a close win 21-15 20-22 21-15.

- I hope I can win of course. He is a really good player, so it is going to be a tough match tomorrow. But I hope I can deliver my best, Johannesen ended.
