Finland seeks Deputy Head Coach

The Head Coach of the Finnish national team Anu Nieminen will go on a maternity leave in December and Badminton Finland is looking for a deputy head coach during her absence.


As the Head Coach you will be in charge of the daily operations and development of the Badminton Finland Training Center (Valmennuskeskus). The teams practicing at the Badminton Finland Training Center are the national teams and Märsky junior team. The Head Coach will also coach Team Finland towards the European Mixed Team Championships in Vantaa in February.


The key qualities we are looking for are education and experience in badminton coaching, in addition to which we appreciate good communication skills and experience in working with junior players. Furthermore, administrative know-how and understanding of sports federation environment are a bonus.
