Adam Hall and Alexander Dunn won their opening match at Denmark Open and are ready to face German opponents in the second round.

World number 37 against world number 38. On paper it should be an intense opening game for Adam Hall and Alexander Dunn at the Denmark Open, but the opening game told another story.

The Scottish duo dominated against Phillip Chew/Ryan Chew (USA) from the very beginning and won the opening game 21-15. In the second game the Americans took the lead in the very beginning, but from 5-5 it was a copy-past of the opening game.

Germans in second round
Alexander Dunn and Adam Hall are ready for the second round winning 21-11 in the second game.

- We are very happy to win our first game since February. I felt a little tense throughout the full first game, but I think it was just a bit of nerves about being back on court, but thankfully we were able to close in out in quite comfortable style, Adam Hall stated.

The Scottish will be facing Jones Ralfy Jansen and Peter Kaesbauer, Germany, in the second round.

- We have played them a lot in the last year or so and it has been edged out, so we will be looking to get the win tomorrow. The last two matches it has been down to who did the first four shots better and who got the attack first really, so we will be paying a lot of focus on that, Hall mentioned.
