For many competitors it was the first international tournament since lockdown, but from the first matches it was clear that junior players were back in shape and showed no signs of fatigue during event.

Need to stress extremely high level of competition in the RSL Lithuanian Junior 2020 as BEC Junior Circuit Ranking leaders Joakim Oldorff (MS) and Ania Setien (WS/WD) were on court as many other BEC Junior Circuit top ranked players ranked were present – MD#2 & MS#6 Gabriel Fernandez, MD#4 & MS#8 Jacobo Fernandez, WS#2 Dounia Pelupessy, WD#2 & WS#4 Lucia Rodriguez, MD#7 Alejandro De Pablo, WD#7 & XD#8 Candela Arcos.

- Watching and playing with rising European and World stars is unique experience for smaller countries and Organizer (Capital Badminton Club) is extremely thankful for those countries who send their players to the tournament and players in personal for showing top level performance, unique respect to the competition, opponents and bringing best badminton culture to Lithuania, Ramunas Kavaliauskas says.
