Eight-man Dutch squad for the Thomas Cup announced

National coach Ruud Bosch has announced his eight-man selection for the Thomas Cup in October this year. The Dutch team consists of: 

Mark Caljouw, Joran Kweekel, Finn Achthoven, Robin Tabeling, Ruben Jille, Ties van der Lecq, Wessel van der Aar and Brian Wassink. 

Wassink is the replacement for Jelle Maas who retired this summer. Danish trainer Jonas Lyduch will act as national coach during the matches.

In the group stage of the Thomas Cup, the silver medalists at the 2020 European Men's Team Championships are classified in group A with Indonesia, Malaysia and England. 

The Thomas Cup is scheduled for 3-11 October 2020 in Aarhus, Denmark. Only first and second in the group qualify for the quarterfinals.
