Yesterday, two national teams squared off against each other at the busy ‘Lavina Mall’ in Kyiv. 

Ukraine took on Bulgaria in a friendly match in the early afternoon, with many shoppers stopping to watch the impressive show. Ukrainian popstar ‘TARABAROVA’ also performed for the crowd. 

All of this was to promote the major event happening in the city 21-26 April, the 2020 European Championships. As can be seen, the city of Kyiv is very excited to be hosts of the biggest European badminton event of the year. For more information about the championships, click here.
