Locals through to the quarterfinals at SaarLorLux Open.
 
The third seeded German mixed double, Marvin Seidel and Linda Efler, played their second match at SaarLorLux Open today against Peter Kaesbauer and Laura Kaepplein also from Germany.
 
The seeded Germans are through to the quarterfinals tomorrow after a convincing win in straight games, 21-11 21-12.
 
- We played a high level today and very solid throughout the hole match. I think the difference was the dominance in mid court and a high confidence, Seidel said.
 
Playing at home
A lot of German players are playing SaarLorLux Open and want to perform good as they are playing in their own country. This is not any different for Marvin Seidel and Linda Efler.

- We really want to perform well here at our home tournament, so a final would be great. But the next rounds will be very tough, so first of all we just have to keep performing well.
 
Tomorrow they will be playing against the seventh seeded Dong Wei Jie and Chen Xaio Fei from China in the quarterfinals.
