She did it again! Carolina Marin is ready for another World Tour final.

Carolina Marin has been outstanding at the French Open beating two former world champions, and in the semifinals it was time to face the world number one, Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei. And once again the ‘Comeback player of the Year’ (a title made up for this article) showed why the badminton fans have been missing her.

Marin trailed in the beginning of the first game, but at 8-8 it was all even 8-8. From there the Spanish star dominated, and Marin won the first game 21-16.

- The body language was important from the beginning. I knew that she was tired today, and although I made some stupid mistakes in the beginning, I kept telling myself to keep the shuttle on court and move her around, Marin said.

Slept at 4.00am
Marin took the control in the beginning of the second game, and although Tai Tzu Ying pushed the defending Olympic champion there was no doubt, who had the upper hand. Marin was leading 11-5 at the interval and secured a spot in the final winning the second game 21-9.

- I do not know how I managed to recover from last night. I finished my massage at 4.00am, and I felt stiffer in my body. I was not fresh for this match, Marin stated.

- I knew she was tired too. In the second game she did not play any good trick shots and she made many mistakes, and then I knew she was tired.

Spain vs. Korea
In the final on Sunday the defending European champion will be facing Korean teenager An Se Young.

- I met her last week in Denmark, but tomorrow will be different. The conditions here are different, and I know this will be her first big final. Maybe experience will matter, Carolina Marin explained.

Before tomorrow’s final Carolina Marin lead the head-to-head against An Se Young 1-0.
