No English mixed doubles left at this years Denmark Open

Chris and Gabrielle Adcock from England are out of the tournament after losing 21-18 17-21 18-21 to Chang Tak Ching and Ng Wing Yung from Hong Kong China. This is what they had to say about the game.

- Our game went both up and down, but we did not play well, and the opponents were good, Chris Adcock said.

- They were getting the attack a lot more and we did not deal with the defence that well. We either lifted too short or out back, Gabrielle Adcock mentioned.

A disappointing match
Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith from England also lost their match today. They played against He Ji Ting and Du Yue from China. Here the Chinese pair won 21-19 21-12.

- I do not have a lot of positive things about the game to be honest. We did not move really well and did not adjust the tactics the way we should have done, Smith said.

- We are disappointed, she added.

- We were chasing the points and got more tense about it, where the opponents could relax a bit because they got so many points lead, Ellis ended.
