Ahead of the European Games, the seeding for the Mixed Doubles category has been released, for the multi-sport event which gets underway next month.

There is a number of high-profile names in the list and it is set up to be a great event with a lot of competition between the best players in Europe.

1 - CHRIS ADCOCK/GABRIELLE ADCOCK – The married couple off court are the European Games’ number one seeds. After the success in Huelva and the Commonwealth Games, both back to back, the Adcocks will be confident ahead of the European Games.

2 – MARCUS ELLIS/LAUREN SMITH- The pair from England (representing Great Britain) are the number two seeds and will be looking to make the title in Minsk, theirs after a fabulous 2018 year which resulted in them attending the BWF World Tour finals in December.

3 – MARK LAMSFUSS/ISABEL HERTTRICH – The Germans who are this year’s number three seeds definitely have the potential to do well in Minsk, after winning the Canada Open and the Orleans Masters in 2018. They were also very pivotal to Germany achieving Silver at the European Mixed Team Championships 2019, in Copenhagen.

4 – THOM GICQUEL/DELPHINE DELRUE -The French pair is the number four seeds for the European Games. After reaching the final of the LI-NING Denmark Challenge against tough competition, the pair will feel confident that they can win a medal at the event in Minsk next month.
