Brian Agerbak, General Secretary at Badminton Europe, has a message for all new members, who will support the commission work for European badminton.

- I want to welcome all new commission members, I am confident that they will do a great job. I am happy that there is a huge interest by our member associations to nominate candidates for the commission work, he said.

- It is very important for us to ensure diversity as well as new ideas, and to get the input from experts from particular areas of badminton. I hope that it will be mutually beneficial for the new commission members, as they also extend their horizons, he added.

Contribution to develop badminton in Europe

Each commission at Badminton Europe consist of BEC Vice-Presidents, Directors or external experts (from BEC member associations).

- It is essential for us to receive new ideas and and inspirations from a wide group of people, within our member associations. That is very vital for us and helps us to develop the sport, Agerbak said.

Looking back to the commission work in the last two years, Agerbak is confident to develop the sport of badminton in the future.

- I would like to thank all commission members, who are not continuing, for their contribution in the last two years. Everybody, who has been involved, has done a great job to the best of their ability. They have had a big impact and I am grateful for that.
