The Super 300 tournament in New Zealand has ended for Mark Lamsfuss & Isabel Herttrich (Germany). The German mixed doubles pair were the last Europeans remaining in this tournament.

Lamsfuss and Herttrich were the ones to kick off the quarter final day against Chi-Ling Wang/Chi Ya Cheng (Chinese Taipei). The audience immediately got to see one of the most exciting matches of the day: The 21-19 20-22 and 21-17 score in more than an hour time shows that the match had plenty of action.

Unfortunately the score was not in advantage of the Germans. Untill 14-14 in the third game, the match could go both ways. But Wang & Cheng took off and took the win as well.

- It was a tough and close match! Lamsfuss stated on social media after the match.
