Rebecca Spiteri attended YONEX All England Open Championships 2019 last week, after winning the BEC Voicestorm competition.
Badminton Europe would like to congratulate Spiteri and everyone at BEC hopes that she had a wonderful time in Birmingham, with one European reaching the podium, Viktor Axelsen.
An enjoyable experience
Spiteri went to the event with her boyfriend and enjoyed some great badminton from her seat inside the Arena Birmingham, in the second largest city of the United Kingdom.
"The experience blew my mind. It was the first time for me to watch a competition of high level live instead of on my laptop at home", Rebecca Spiteri said.
"I will never forget that feeling I felt when I entered the arena for the first time", she added.
"Thank you to Badminton Europe for the huge generosity and the opportunity to watch these amazing players".
Rebecca Spiteri also managed to get a picture with one of this year’s winners of the Women’s Doubles category Jia Yifan who won in the final together with Chen Qingchen against Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara.
