Badminton Europe has certificated a new Training Centre: The badminton training centre in Pecs, Hungary, is becoming a Certified Training Centre (CTC).

“This time, our good and ambitious badminton friends from Hungary got the certification”, says Badminton Europe’s Senior Manager, Michael Nørbæk.

“We are looking forward to the cooperation, which is important to improve the level of high performance in Hungary and in Europe in general and to react on the strong competition, especially from Asia”, he adds.

Only one month ago, another European center got certificated: Oviedo in Spain.

Richard Vaughan, Chairman of High Performance in Badminton Europe, says: “We are going to change our concept for the CTC’s this year. A lot of good things have happened since we invented some criteria and ratings for our CTCs, for example we started our Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence at the end of 2017".

"So, the future will be about working together, the exchange of players, coaches, camps etc. The main goal is to bring Europe together as a team that cooperates, so that we can improve badminton in the future",
Vaughan adds.
