Brice Leverdez talked to Badminton Europe about his country's participation at the European Mixed Team Championships in less than two weeks.
Leverdez speaking ahead of the European Mixed Team Championships believes that France has a squad to compete for the top spot in Copenhagen.
The Frenchman is confident that his team can go far in the European Mixed Team Championships.
- Since the last few years, we showed that we were capable of being on the podium with the Men's team. So now, we are aiming for the same with the Mixed Team, Brice Leverdez said.
- We are stronger than ever before, so I am quite confident, he added.
French Talents
The Paris-born experienced player also believes that despite the good up and coming talent through the French team, a lot of work is ahead.
- We do have very good talented players but to bring them to the top level they still need to work hard, he said.
- I hope that the collaboration between these young talents and the federation will go smoothly.
