New Development/Events Assistant employed

As part of a re-structure, BEC has a new employee as of 1st of January 2014, Zsofia Horvath started working at Badminton Europe as Development/Events Assistant. She replaced Spela Silvester who started to work as Marketing Manager at Badminton Europe.

Zsofia, who is Hungarian-born, has a degree in Recreation and Health Promotion with a specialization in Sports Recreation. Having played badminton for over 16 years and being part of the Hungarian National team, Zsofia is looking forward to providing services to our Member Associations in the Development and Events area.

As a Development/Events Assistant, Zsofia will be supporting the Development Manager and Events Manager in their respective areas. These will include working on the Olympic Projects, BEC Summer School, Regional Projects, School Projects, Equipment Distribution, Coach Education as well as for the various Badminton Europe events including the Circuit tournaments. 
 
Badminton Europe is very pleased with the employment of Zsofia Horvath as she, with the expertise she brings to the organization, will be a valuable asset for BEC.
