Subgroup 2: Israel beats Latvia with 4-1
Latvia has lost its second tie and is definitely out for the final on Sunday. Misha Zilberman from Israel believes they have a chance to win from Norway tomorrow.
- We have very young girls and it will not be easy because we will have to win at least 1 match with a girl. We will try our best and I believe that we can do it and hopefully, we will do it.
Ireland dominates Subgroup 1 after winning from Finland: 4-1
Ireland won both its ties and advances to the final on Sunday. They had some tough matches today, but eventually, they were slightly stronger than Finland. Nhat Nguyen (IRL) looks back on his men’s singles match.
- I felt that I controlled the game well, I controlled the game better than him (Eetu Heino, FIN). It was a comfortable enough win but it was close at times and I am happy to come out as the winner.
