Badminton Europe is delighted to announce another arrival to the Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

There has been an overhaul of new employees over the recent months for the company which is now concluded with the arrival of Luca Crippa as the Junior Manager in Development.

Crippa joins, Tania Teoh (Manager) and Hugo Mussou (Junior Manager) in Development as well as Michael Nørbæk who has also recently joined as a Senior Manager.

Living the dream

The Italian 33-year-old says that he cannot wait to be a part of the team at Badminton Europe and referred to it being a continuation of his dream.

- Badminton is my life, my passion so I like to consider it as a job, I live it every day and that is another reason why I have come here, it allows me to continue the dream of working in the sport that I love. Luca Crippa said.

From a young age I was a player and then I became the President of one of the most important clubs in Italy, Badminton Club Milano.

I am really excited to start here because at Badminton Europe, we are at the top of European Badminton so we can do a lot in the development side of it, the 33-year-old added.

Development is looking bright

It is very important to me for the expansion of the staff in the company, Development has had a big change and it is time to start a new phase.

- A part of me has always been involved in the development area of badminton with both my club and my federation, Crippa said.

- It is a really interesting area, development and an area that I know very well from my time at the Italian Badminton Federation, stated the new Junior Manager.

A trip to the old days

Before Crippa moved into a job within the badminton world, the Italian Junior Manager was part of Kenneth Larsen’s Academy in Aalborg, also in Denmark.

- I was in Aalborg for a long period in a coach education at the Academy of Kenneth Larsen, he commented.

- This gave me a chance to see how it was to live in a different country, so in that way, I know how it is but in some ways this will be completely different, added Crippa.
