Denmark in the first final stage

On Wednesday, Team Denmark reached the first final stage at the BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Canada, after winning 4-1 against Team Singapore.

Around 440 Junior players from more than 40 countries have made their way to Markham, Canada, where this year’s BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships are getting underway. 

Thereby, Team Denmark has reached the first final stage (1 to 8), after winning against Team Singapore on Wednesday.

Victories for Magelund and Christophersen

Amalie Magelund, playing in Mixed and Women’s Doubles, and Line Christophersen, participating in Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles, were able to win their two matches on Wednesday. 

The Danish Men’s Double pair, Sebastian Grønbjerg and Mads Vestergaard, lost a close match, 16-21 and 23-25, to their opponents, Wen Xing Abel Tan/Han Zhou Toh. 

On Thursday, Team Denmark is playing against Team Indonesia, which is seeded number two, in the final stage of 1 to 8. The first match starts at 8.30 AM, local time.
