The European Champions once again showed that they are the best women’s doubles in Europe.

2018 has been amazing for the defending European women’s doubles Champions. Already before the finals at the SaarLorLux Open, Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva had won four titles in 2018 including the European Championships and Dutch Open. On Sunday the Stoeva Sisters secured another title for Bulgarian badminton.

In the final of the BWF Super 100 event the European Champions won 22-20 15-21 21-19 against Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istarani and Rizki Amelia Pradipta from Indonesia.

- Once again it was a great performance by them. I am very happy that they won because it was a tough match. They are doing great at the moment, and I am really happy, Mihail Popov, coach of the Stoevas Sisters says.

It is the first time Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva win the SaarLorLux Open and it was the third final in 22 days for the Bulgarians. But there is no time to rest.

- They are on top right now and we all believe in our work together. We hope to win medals at the World and the Olympics.

- We will take a two-week break, but I will make sure that they keep playing tournaments. They have to keep the good level, Popov says.
